Garden

We embarked on a mammoth makeover of the garden. It took over a year to complete.

The first transformation was bagging the walls- we went from red brick to lightly rendered.

Nearly finished. We have new limestone walls around the house, which will eventually contain a garden bed, and walls and pillars to keep the kangaroos out and Euan in. The football pitch at the front is a fantastic area for races. This area took a lot of site works, as the base is just coffee rock.

Before the house was paved, the veranda was dirty and the garden was messy. Now w have bagged walls, liquid limestone paths, day beds and swinging chairs... bliss!

Once totally completed, there will be a gate enclosing the grassed area, and wire between each pillar.

The side area was a mess of weeds and was a waste of space. The area was leveled and the paving around the house was replaced here to make a double parking space, and houses the washing line.
